The Fused Art Process

Each piece is designed, cut, ground, and pieced together with two or more layers of glass. The glass is then kiln fired at temperatures up to 1600 F for as many as two or more times until the desired result. While in the kiln, the glass is soaked at high temperatures, flash cooled, then annealed and slowly cooled over eight hours to room temperature. The kiln process is carefully monitored to ensure for quality product at maximum strength. Each piece is unique, no two pieces are exactly alike.
