Fundamentals of Glass Fusing
Description: Introduction to glass fusing. This class teaches safety, basic fusing concepts (like cutting, grinding, and how glass behaves at different temperatures in the kiln) and an introduction to the different types of glass used in glass fusing.
Class focuses on arranging glass for flat fusing. 3 hours.
Includes:
- 3 hours of instruction
- Creation of 3 projects as time permits (one large and two small) which include your choice of pendants, magnets, coaster/or tile, picture frame or a sun catcher
- All glass and supplies
- Use of necessary tools
- All kiln firings
Cost: $75 individual instruction
$240 class of 4 students
$300 class of 6 students
Mini Class
Description: Same as above except one project made in 1 ½ hours.
Excellent for younger students, mom and child events, or small group events.
Includes:
- 1 1/2 hours of instruction
- Creation of one project
- All glass and supplies
- Use of necessary tools
- All kiln firings
Cost: $40 individual class.
$70 class of 2 students ( Mom & Me)
$120 class of 4 students
$150 class of 6 students
Take this class as many times as you like, we will do different projects each class.
